Christmas at the London Aquarium

Well Christmas is definitely well on its way. And even in the London Aquarium we are bringing Christmas even to the fish. We have a huge green Christmas tree and some big presents inside our second largest tank our Atlantic tank. We even have our own little Santa's grotto thats also our Christmas point ... you have to work at the aquarium to get that one.

Well on Thursday we had a visit from Santa and his elves ;o) We had Tom, David and John dressed up as elves and running around the aquarium on their segways ... they were loving it ... except for the few accidents that happened along the way. We also had Mario dressed as Santa inside the Atlantic tank feeding the fish ... it was really funny but looked kewl.

Well news at the aquarium ... we have new baby anableps they are the "four-eyed fish" we have been waiting ages for them and they are sooo cute. Otherwise not much news else except everyone is being retrained in the feeding so they have to train the VIP's first before they can train us to feed again so until then it is just talks for me. The ray pool still hasn't sorted itself out completely ... just waiting for those girls to sort out their hierarchy so that they they can settle down at feeding times now.

But because it we aren't doing feeds it's ok because now I can get to know all the new rays in the touch pool. Our baby rays are getting really big now and they are getting all their pretty patterns especially one of the undulate babies.
